I am a young mixed woman stitcher who started stitching in the pandemic when my college experience was cut unexpectedly short. Since I didn’t get a chance to say bye to my friends, I started sending them stitching gifts to feel connected. And ever since then, I have loved stitching, flosstube, and using this hobby as a break from law school, which I just started this year and it can be stressful and all-consuming. There are not that many stitchers of color especially in their 20s, so I love this idea to feel connected and find each other!
